Pre-Ballet/Jazz/Tap: This class prepares dancers ages 2-4 for entrance into the dance world. In this class, they will learn the foundational skills of ballet, jazz, and tap while getting use to the structure and fun of attending a professional dance studio.
Contemporary Ballet: Contemporary Ballet blends Ballet and Modern Dance.
Dancers will learn ballet infused with modern dance technique.
*Pointe class will be available for eligible dancers: Dancers must display appropriate ballet technique and strength. Assessment required and teacher approval needed for pointe.
Jazz: Leaps, turns, and isolation are at the core of Jazz dance.
Dancers will learn musicality, rhythm, improve flexibility, and strength in Jazz.
Tap: Tap dance is a style that uses shoes with metal taps to strike the floor creating rhythmic sounds. Tap dance includes rapid foot moments combined with interpretive body movements.
Hip Hop: Dancers will learn Hip-hop techniques performed to that specific genre music.
Hip Hop refers to street dance styles primarily and styles that have evolved as part of hip-hop culture.
Acro: Acro dance is a style of dance that combines dance technique with precision
acrobatic elements. It is defined by its athletic character, its unique choreography, which blends dance and acrobatics.
Contemporary: Contemporary dance is an expressive style of dance that combines elements of various dance styles including ballet, modern, jazz, and lyrical. Contemporary dance teaches the art of connecting your mind and body through dance.
Broadway Dance: This class incorporates ballet, jazz and modern dance styles to songs from Broadway musicals.
